Feedback Plan
1. Group Discussions and Feedback
a. Following the completion and delivery of the project, the students will use a checklist to discuss as a group how they thought they did in their own project. After they complete this, they will be assigned another group of which they need to evaluate. The teacher will also participate and give some pointers as well.
2. Whole Classroom Discussions
a. The whole classroom will discuss general points that were successful, and other areas that were not successful through a circle time like activity.
3. Feedback Mechanism
a. During the Group Discussions and Feedback, students will have a simplified rubric to help them guide themselves and peer feedback. It will be in the form of a checklist.
Objective:
Students will be able to create a 5 minute Podcast adaptation of the Bremen
Town Musicians, which includes a well-written script, and story board, all according to the
rubrics given.
Tactic to
be used: the students will work in small groups to create a specific
project (collaborative rather than cooperative). Being the first podcast project ever, the
teacher will assign the roles to the students rather than the team leaders
(roles have been made specifically for writing in groups and podcasting).
Group
size: 2 groups of 4, and 2 groups of 3 (the 2 groups of 3 will each
have a stronger student in them who can take on 2 roles).
Total
Time for lesson: 80 minutes (two Language Art Blocks).

Monitoring Plan
1. Preventive measures
a. Making sure the students have clear jobs within their groups so they know what is expected of them.
2. During each step of the project
a. Walking amongst the student groups and asking guiding questions to keep them on tasks
b. Use the rubric as a checklist of what the groups need to be doing, and take notes of how students are completing their tasks and responsibility.
c. Meet with the captains from each group every 10 minutes to keep all the groups on task and have a pulse reading of where each group is at.
